Meals on Wheels

A Meals on Wheels volunteer and recipientMeals on Wheels are provided short-term or long-term to homebound elders age 60 and older who are unable to prepare a nutritionally balanced noon meal for themselves and are unable to attend congregate hot lunches. Therapeutic meals are available for certain medical conditions and may be ordered by your health care provider. Frozen weekend meals are available.

Volunteers deliver meals Monday through Friday, weather permitting, and provide a well-being check to elders who might otherwise be isolated. (To learn more about volunteering to deliver meals, click here.)

There is no fee for Meals on Wheels, but voluntary donations are accepted.

Meals on Wheels can be reached at 800-732-4636, or 413-773-5555, or 978-544-2259, or TDD 413-772-6566, Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
